Bring your pets with you when you have to evacuate your home

Severe storms can hit any place, even Glen Mills. If high winds, ice and snow, or heavy rains make evacuation necessary, SERVPRO^® of Southern Delaware County knows that most of us will not leave without our pets.  We can repair water damage and storm damage Like it never even happened^® but people and pets are irreplaceable.

Preparation for Glen Mills Pets:

• Maintain current information on all tags
• Secure tags to collars
• Consider microchips for animals that cannot wear collars or that may lose them
• In case you get separated, have photos of yourself with each pet
• Identify shelters and motels that accept pets
• Have a secure leash/harness and carrier for each of your pets
• Keep copies of each Rx for the pet(s)

Emergency Kits for Pets:

• Rabies tags, copies of vaccination records
• Medical records for pets that require extra care
• At least a 3-day supply of water and food for each pet
• Animal first-aid kit
• Favorite toys and blankets
• Treats
• Medicines
• Extra litter and litter box
• Bags for waste
