Fire Damage in Apartment Unit

SERVPRO responded immediately to an emergency call at an apartment complex in my territory.  It started from a pan left on the stove with the gas still on.  Tenant went next store for a visit and forgot what she had cooking on the stove.  All the smoke and the smell alerted the entire building of the fire.  After the local fire department came out and did their job we were allowed in the unit to start the clean up.  Needless to say in that short period of time there was much damage to all her personal items and also to the walls, floors and carpets.  We came in with all the necessary equipment to clean up and also to try to salvage her personal contents.  Cleaning contents is such a tedious procedure but by the time our crew had completed the clean up, much of her personal property was salvaged.  She was so very happy to return to her apartment especially with the bulk of her personal belongings.  Another job well done by our crew!
