Mold in Apartment

This opened up wall reveals a mold infestation in this Southern Delaware County area apartment.  Water leakage from a line caused the dormant mold spores to develop into large mold colonies along this wall. We demolished the lower two feet of the drywall after we sealed this part of the apartment  to prevent the cross contamination of mold spores, fungi particles, and dust. Our technician applied microbial remediation, used OSHA and IICRC guidelines to sanitize the mold infested areas with sprays. After a day, we verified that the exposed area was back to normal moisture levels, and the homeowner was able to then begin the rebuilding planning.
